Becoming a member of The Inspirato Club promises a lot—and that all comes to its most vivid life on an Inspirato vacation. Traveling with the club lets members experience not only our beautiful homes, but also the stellar service that keeps members coming back again and again.

Earlier this year, member Curtis Tucker took his family on their first Inspirato vacation to Villa Vientos, a four-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot home that sits atop a verdant hillside on Costa Rica’s Cacique Peninsula. “This was our first trip with Inspirato, thus we had no idea what to expect. Our expectations were high, based on our conversations with the travel team,” Curtis wrote. Before arriving on an Inspirato vacation, members discuss their travel preferences and favorite activities with their Care team as well as the on-site destination team. “We had explained how we are used to traveling and what we like to do on our trips.”

With an infinity-edge pool, ample outdoor space that includes a grill, an open living room under cathedral ceilings, and much more, Villa Vientos—and Costa Rica as a whole—ended up being an excellent choice for Curtis’s first Inspirato experience.

This trip could not have been more perfect! From the home with the stunning view to the activities and our meals, we had a fantastic time.

Based on his family’s preferences, Curtis worked with the Inspirato team to plan the perfect personalized itinerary, which included plenty of opportunities to become immersed in Costa Rica’s beautiful jungles, beaches, and sunshine. “We LOVED our day at Rio Perdido where we spent the day zip-lining, tubing, hiking, and wading in the hot spring river,” Curtis wrote about the member-favorite Rio Perdido adventure area. “We also loved snorkeling on the very private black sand beach and visiting Las Catalinas.”

Of course, they enjoyed delicious meals, both at the home and at nearby restaurants. “Our meals were fantastic. We loved our meal at Ginger (it seems to cater to Americans/tourists), but also loved La Casita del Marisco (had a more local feel to it, right on the beach).” Villa Vientos includes daily breakfast service, with traditional, local recipes and classic favorites prepared fresh by the home’s dedicated housekeeper for just the cost of groceries. And like at any Inspirato home, their concierge, Kelsey, arranged for special surprises each day.

“The breakfasts each morning were delicious and the snacks in the afternoon were such a treat,” Curtis wrote. “Our daughter would get so excited in the middle of the day when she would remember there would be a little gift waiting for us when we walked in from our adventure!”

Curtis and his family spent tons of time at the villa, as well—especially by the pool. “The accommodations were lovely. We are normally ready to come home and sleep in our own beds and eat our own food by about the fourth night spent away from home. That was not at all the case with Villa Vientos. I could have stayed forever!” Curtis wrote. “Our bed and bedding were very comfortable (we are both very particular about mattresses and linens) and I slept wonderfully each night. The towels were plentiful and we loved having the Molton Brown toiletries available since that is what I use at home.”

The on-site staff were also a tremendous help. “The house staff was fabulous. The location of the home was also a plus. I was a little concerned about it not being inside a compound or resort and the fact that it had security guards on property at night, but we always felt very safe. I walked in the hilly neighborhood most mornings and was never worried. The alarm system in the home just added an extra layer of security. We didn’t have any problems anywhere we went.”

Ultimately, much of their satisfaction was due to the personalized attention they received from their concierge Kelsey. “It is hard to imagine another trip without Kelsey! She checked in with us each day (either in person or by phone) to see how things were going and if we needed anything,” Curtis wrote. “She tweaked our itinerary after we arrived and she realized how tired we were from our early morning (middle of the night) departure from our home. We were so thankful she intuitively did this! There were a couple of other things throughout the week she recommended based on what she thought we would like, and I am so thankful we had her.”

Whether it’s their first or fiftieth trip with Inspirato, travelers always receive world-class service to complement their stunning accommodations. Explore all of Inspirato’s luxury vacation accommodations, and learn more about why traveling with us is unlike any other way to experience the world.

Yup Kelsey is 5-Star all on her own. She was our concierge and she definitely goes above a d beyond. Rio Perdido is a must do; we had a blast there!
