Tons of space
Coming in at just over 8,000 square feet, Swift Landing was built specifically to accommodate large groups. Up to 21 people can comfortably sleep in this mountainside estate’s seven bedrooms. Kids can pile into two bunk rooms—one of which includes nine twin beds set up in a fun, multi-tiered arrangement—while grown-ups have abundant space in the other bedrooms, several of which feature en suite bathrooms.
The main living room is centered around a fireplace and lined with massive, floor-to-ceiling windows that offer beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It’s a perfect spot for a group of any size to get together.
For even more fun, gather in the game room. Here you can play a round of ping-pong as spectators sink into the cushy, comfortable couch. Throughout the home, visitors will find several other cozy nooks to curl up in, including a work area with a desk and a sunny observation room at the top of the home, accessible only by a ladder, that kids will love.
Swift Landing boasts all the features and amenities a luxury traveler would expect from a palatial home like this. A massive, abstract dining table is the perfect serving spot for meals cooked in the large gourmet kitchen. Outside, the patio—with heated floors as well as additional heat from above—includes a custom-built hot tub that can fit up to 20 people, plus a fire pit and grill. You won’t find many better places for entertaining in Breckenridge.
Beyond the home, travelers staying at Swift Landing have access to amenities at One Ski Hill, a nearby luxury hotel. The chic property includes everything travelers need to stay entertained: a fitness facility, bowling alley, indoor pool, dining options, and much more.
Located in the Shock Hill neighborhood, Swift Landing is just a five-minute drive from downtown Breckenridge. Much of the area surrounding Main Street is a preserved National Historic District, and today, the colorful Victorian buildings host specialty shops, art galleries, and restaurants serving every type of cuisine. In warmer months, simply strolling along the charming thoroughfare is an enjoyable activity in its own right, but you’ll be hard-pressed not to pop into one of its quaint ice cream shops or stop on a patio for a drink.
Swift Landing is also a brief drive to the Peak 8 Base Camp, a hub for activities. Summertime sees the village open up thrilling attractions such as an alpine coaster, alpine slides, a bungee trampoline, and mini-golf, among other family-friendly options. From the Base Camp, take a gondola to the mountaintop Alpine Camp for sweeping views, hiking trails, zip lines, and ropes courses.
